Final Project: Map of San Andres Island

I tried to create a tourist map of the island where I am from. The following are links about travel information and information of San Andres:

1. http://www.sanandres.com/
This link provides images and travel information.

2.http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1090.html
This link is from the US Department of State. It provides travel information about Colombia.
3.http://www.sanandres.com/travel_maps.php
It shows the island in Google map.
4. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g297482-San_Andres_Island-Hotels.html
Information about hotels in San Andres
5. http://groups.msn.com/BigJuicesSanAndresIsland/shoebox.msnw
This link provides feedback from people that visited the island. It is good for travel tips and to know the good local spots that sometimes are not known by a travel agent.

Two more links

Color Map ( improved)

I really like this map compare to the black and white version. Color provides a better impact of the data on the audience. I think the printed version of the my color map displays better the red color than the web version.

Links

Andres' Project is a web site that I created last semester for the IT 103 class. It is about measuring climate change . I just wanted to show it to you all, because it is the first web site I have made and I tried to be creative putting pictures I had taken. Hopefully I will be able to make better pages on this class.

National Geographic web site offers a variaty of interesting articles and images related to our field. It also has a seccion for maps, that I think could be usefull for this class.

Nasa web site also offers a imagery and information about Earth. It provides links to different projects that use satellite imagery technology to study natural systems of Earth. I think is pretty interesting.
